Laser Capture Microdissection (LCM) makes it possible to obtain small cell populations,
ideally, microarray gene expression analysis should be performed from homogeneous cell populations, it is therefore required sometimes to do gene expression from a single cell. BIOTAQ now provides expert Affymetrix gene expression profiling service from
a single cell.
With our optimized protocol and proprietary procedures for linear RNA amplification, we offer you high quality from_RNA_to_data GeneChip service, we do both small & standard sample amplification (as small as 10 pg of RNA from single cell), FLAT FEE of $650 for both small & standard sample amplification. We only need you to send us as little as 10 pg of total RNA, we will deliver you the high quality microarray data for your analysis. With your money, we will get your samples thru the following steps:
- First strand & second strand cDNA synthesis from your RNA sample, followed by clean-up of double-stranded
cDNA.
- First round cRNA synthesis to generate cold
cRNA, followed by clean-up of cRNA.
- Second round cDNA synthesis, followed by clean-up of cDNA.
- Second round cRNA synthesis to generate biotinylated
cRNA, followed by cRNA clean-up and its quality will be checked by Agilent 2100 to determine its
length.
- cRNA is fragmented by using optimized experimental conditions and its length of fragmented cRNA will be checked by Agilent 2100.
- Fragmented cRNA is mixed with hybridization mix, and
will be hybridized to the array of your choice.
- Array will be washed and scanned & raw expression profile data will be collected and analyzed.
- CD including raw data and Excel formatted data will be mailed to you together with array images, scatter plots, cRNA QC data, array QC data.
Turnaround time for standard RNA samples (with more than 1ug of total RNA) will be 8 business days.
Turnaround time for small RNA samples (with less than 200 pg of total RNA) will be 15 business days.
