Features and Advantages of the CEgrade DNA Purification Kit (Post-Sequencing Reaction) (BT300-01):

• Provides the highest purity of DNA for Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) applications, especially for Capillary DNA Sequencing. 
  
• The optimized purification procedure will not only remove unincorporated fluorophores, dNTPs and excess salt, it will also remove the 
  sequencing enzyme, all of these components greatly reduce the quality of the capillary electrophoresis run, will certainly shorten the life 
  of the capillary column. 
  
• The DNA purified by this kit will yield very consistent sequencing results and is very simple to use.
  
• The kit first uses phase separation tube (PST) based extraction to obtain DNA aqueous phase and to get rid of enzymes, phase 
  separation tube contains a gel plug, and extraction buffer, upon centrifugation, it migrates to form a tight barrier between the aqueous 
  phase and organic phase. The organic phase and the interface material are effectively trapped in or below the barrier and are at the bottom 
  of the tube. This allows the complete, easy transfer of the entire upper aqueous phase. 
  
• The DNA is then cleaned up further by precipitation. During the precipitation, a co-precipitant is added to the precipitation step to maximize recovery &
  yield of the DNA, and the resultant DNA pellet can thus be easily checked visually. 
  
• The kit can be used for post-sequencing reaction purification to drastically increase sequence quality & to extend the life of capillary column on ABI 310,
  3100, 3130, 3700, 3730 Sequencers, Beckman’s CEQ 2000 Sequencer and MegaBACE™ DNA Analysis Systems.
  

• Room temperature storage saves valuable freezer space.
